Philip is lean player with average height. Runs well for his position. At the plate, Philip has excellent bat speed. Swing is long, but maintains excellent bat speed through the zone. Ball really jumps off the bat. He is a pull hitter and hits a ton of fly balls. He is geared for the fastball. Philip has above average power and that will be his strength at the plate at the next level. Behind the plate, Philip has an above average arm and is very accurate. He has good footwork and comes out of the chute well. He has a good arm action and quick release/transfer.
